Stumble into the Weekend 12/14
It’s Friday and guess who hasn’t completely forgotten his linking duties? Yeah, of course it’s me. You don’t have to answer every question, okay?
Anyway, as every other Friday I want to list my favorite posts of the week, just in case you need some good reading material. This time though the links have kind of an overall theme - Money. Yeah, well, I’m making my first marketing steps, so this is what I’ve been reading lately. Deal with it.
- We’ll start with Maki’s “Building an Online Empire: 16 Types of Websites You Can Create for Profit“. A great list. Personally, I’d stay away from some of the oversaturated areas, though.
- You’re asking yourself what I’m doing the whole time, instead of posting? Read Vandelay’s “Researching a Niche: Tools & Techniques” to get a remote idead. Oh, you didn’t ask yourself? Well, go there anyway. It’s a nice introduction.
- Less about the tasks, more about the person is “Three Areas of Internet Marketing Success - #1: THE MARKETER” on diy dollars. It’s the first part in an ongoing series. Should be interesting.
- You can also read another series on netbusinessblog. “Mini (Niche) Affiliate Site using a Forum” shows Adie’s profitable (I hope) community-building endeavors. I wish him a lot of success and us a lot of interesting lessons.
- You simply want to blog and rely on Adsense to make a bit of money? Have a look at Garry’s “Make Money Online Using WordPress RSS Widgets“. It’s easy to implement, no programming skills required and *whoop* you have a new income source. Very well done, Garry. The audio could need a small push , though.
That’s it for this week’s SitW. I wish you all a good weekend, and if you like these posts - don’t be shy, give them a thumb up.

Hey Tobsy, thanks for the link!
I’d suggest Vibrant Media as the best paying ad format (intellitxt), but not necessarily easy to get in without decent traffic.
These are some useful links that I will check out. As a new blogger and a person always interested in making more income…these sites should be helpful!
Now all I have to do is come up with some interesting content!
Have a great weekend.
Thanks for the links too but nothing interesting there. I was eager to read the 16 types of sites just to discover the same old stuff….
Thanks for the list…going to read about the niche was as I think people need to focus on that rather than broad/generic sites.
That’s a great list you have. Thanks for sharing all these links.
You find the good stuff so I dont have to waste my time looking for it. Don’t stop.
ill have to look into those wp widgets as a means of generating a future income. good stuff man.
I found the last link in your post the most useful althought eh whole concep of mash-ups is a passing fad and Amazon associates program is nearly impossible to earn from. I make payday every month with CJ, TNX, SponsoredReviews, but in three years with Amazon, I’ve still yet to see a first payment. Plus, their tracking is less desirable than Clickbank.
I agree with you Code4Gold, Amazon is not as good as Cj or CB. May be I am not sure how to make money from it as i am with CB. I may around 2 or 3 sales CB sales daily. Never made a single sale in Amazon.
